Secondly, it is important to get planning for next year NOW! The saying goes ‘a new year, a new you’ but I prefer ‘a New Year, a Better You!’. And what better way to feel better than with Nordic Walking.

Why not add a pair of Nordic Walking poles to your Christmas list, a head torch for our evening walks or perhaps some cosy winter Nordic Walking gloves. Check out our Store for more information on types of poles and accessories – or give Anita a call on 07598129189.
We will be arranging a ‘Shop n Drop’ on Friday 4th Dec. Call Sales on 0333 123 4540 at Nordic Walking UK before 6pm that day and place your order with “Anita’s Shop’n’Drop”. This will save you postage and you can collect them at the start of Tuesday’s or Wednesday’s walk the following week (8th or 9th Dec) – or arrange alternative collection. Do make sure that they give you your 10% discount!

Nordic Walking benefits everyone at any age from providing support for those who have trouble walking, burning more calories for those who want to lose excess fat and turning a walk into a workout for those who want to get fitter. Not only does it provide lots of physical and mental benefits but it is also fun, gets us out into nature and is very sociable.

We will be including a new Technique Review session every month (from February 2nd Saturday in the month) and our longer Weekend Adventure Walks will be held on the last Sunday of each month. So get those in your diary now.

We are also starting new Wellbeing Walks on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons. These will start with a 4 week “Learn Gentle Nordic Walking” course which begins on Monday 11th January 2016 and will run for 4 consecutive weeks. Wellbeing Walks are for people who like a much slower pace – due to difficulty walking, a medical condition or are beginning to feel chronologically challenged! Our experts at NWUK HQ have devised a simple head to toe technique guide to help you get maximum benefit from your Nordic walking poles.
